Wrapped Beacon ETH (WBETH) is a liquid staking token designed to represent staked Ethereum (ETH) in a flexible, tradable form that can be used in decentralized finance (DeFi) while still earning staking rewards. It was introduced in connection with Binance’s ETH Staking services to unlock liquidity for ETH that would otherwise be locked in staking.
